When there is a large difference between the size and flow rate

We generally select two pressure reducing valves in parallel, and set the pressure gradient of the pressure reducing valve to ensure that the order of the pressure reducing valve is open. When the flow rate is low, only one pressure reducing valve will open first. When the downstream steam consumption increases significantly, the downstream pressure will decrease, and the flow rate of the steam pressure reducing valve cannot meet the application requirements. The other pressure reducing valve will automatically open.  

II. Large planned utilization flow

When planning to use steam with a large flow rate, it is recommended to select two or more sets of pressure reducing valves for parallel operation, which not only can stably control the outlet pressure, extend the service life, but also reduce costs; If the actual application flow is not as large as planned, the parallel connection of steam pressure reducing valves can sometimes become one for use and one for standby, which can ensure normal production.
