Fake and inferior valves are labeled as counterfeit brands

Yesterday, according to the investigators, on July 6th, the Suzhou Industrial Park Industrial and Commercial Bureau received a trademark infringement case. Shi Zhiliang, the project leader of the first phase air flotation tank renovation project of Jiangsu Tianmu Construction Group Co., Ltd. Suzhou Industrial Park Qingyuan Huayan Water Service Co., Ltd., signed a material procurement contract with Shanghai Mingzhu Valve Co., Ltd. on June 13th, agreeing that the brand of the valve is Shanghai Guanlong, and the contract price of the batch of products is 260000. On the day of delivery on July 2nd, when the materials were delivered to the construction site, engineers from Qingyuan Huayan Water Services Company discovered a discrepancy when installing the valve.

"They said that although these valves have a clear trademark tag, they are not quite the same as the valves used by Shanghai Guanlong before, and they are suspected to be counterfeit goods," the investigators said. Immediately, Qingyuan Huayan Water Co., Ltd. contacted Shanghai Guanlong. On July 6th, Shanghai Guanlong sent technicians to Qingyuan Huayan Water Co., Ltd.'s construction site for on-site identification, and it was found that the valves were "fake" and not from Shanghai Guanlong. The trademarks and certificates provided by it are all fake.

"If the amount involved in industrial and commercial identification of counterfeiting a trademark exceeds 50000 yuan, the owner may apply for prosecution," said the case handler. After investigation, the suspect Chen Chun'an, male, 25 years old, was from Anxi County, Fujian Province, and had previously done valve business in Changshu. On June 13, Chen Chun'an, the suspect, privately engraved the official seal of Shanghai Mingzhu Valve Co., Ltd., forged the power of attorney by using the copy of the company's business license he had previously obtained, and signed a material purchase contract with Shi Zhiliang, the project leader of Phase I Air Floatation Pool Reconstruction Project of Qingyuan Huayan Water Affairs Company in Suzhou Industrial Park, in the name of "Chen Xiucai" and Shanghai Mingzhu Valve Co., Ltd, The agreed brand of the valve is Shanghai Guanlong.

After that, Chen Chun'an purchased a batch of valves without any identification in Wenzhou, and found a shop specializing in making fake trademarks and fake hanging tags. He copied some of the trademark hanging tags of Shanghai Guanlong, and then affixed the tags. After that, he shipped 93 valves to the Suzhou construction site, receiving an advance payment of 50000 yuan from the other party. Currently, the case is under further investigation and processing.
