Pipe precautions:
1. Before piping, check the valve for debris and oil stains, and remove them first.
2. The inner and outer burrs on the flange surface shall be removed and chamfered
3. Leak test after piping.
4. When opening a valve in a steam pipeline, first open it a bit, then stop to allow steam to enter the pipeline for preheating, and then slowly open it to the desired opening.
5. When locking the pipe end into the valve body, it should be noted that excessive locking should not cause deformation or damage to the valve, or even damage to the body.
6. When using glue as a sealing medium for the teeth, it should be applied to the ends of the teeth, not to the inner teeth.
7. When piping, use a clamp to clamp the pipe, and then use a pipe wrench to grip the six corners of the valve. The position where the pipe wrench grips the six corners of the valve body is close to the end of the piping, and it is not allowed to clamp at the six corners that are farther away from the pipe.
8. When opening the valve cover, gently tap at the wrench handle and turn to open.
Precautions for flange opening:
9. When installing a valve into a pipe, spot weld the positioning flange port and pipe end first, remove the valve body, and assemble it after the welding of the pipe end flange port is completed. Complete welding is not allowed during positioning.
10. When assembling a valve, the valve center and the pipe end center should be kept concentric to avoid touching the flow blocking blades, even affecting operation.
11. When assembling a butterfly valve, (1) the flow retaining blade should be turned from fully open to slightly open, and when it is not possible to fully open, the piping locking action should be performed.
(2) The upper end is a curved pipe, and the position where the pressure difference in the pipe impacts the valve rod should be placed in the direction with the pressure difference to prevent uneven wear and unstable positioning of the flow baffle due to the pressure difference.
(3) If the outlet water is a curved pipe, the position of the valve rod should be at 90 degrees with a pressure difference to reduce the pressure drop.
